Our Methodology
Every cost estimate is aggregated from published sources: U.S. Small Business Administration lending data, Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, franchise disclosure documents (Item 7 initial-investment tables), industry reports, and current vendor and supplier pricing. We don't run these businesses ourselves — our work is collecting the published numbers, reconciling them, and presenting them as line-item breakdowns you can adjust to your situation. Each business page lists the sources behind its figures, and we review them periodically to reflect current market conditions.
Each business type includes low, mid-range, and premium tiers so you can see realistic scenarios for your budget level. Line items are broken into one-time startup costs and recurring monthly expenses.
